Beta Version of Italia Released

Due to constraints of time and my decision to move on (for the most part) from JK editing, I have decided to cease working on this project. Although I never did quite finish it, it is essentially working and would probably require only a few more hours' work to bring it up to v1.0 condition.

At the request of Zeq Macaw, I have decided to upload my latest version here, and invite any interested editors to try and pick up where I left off. You have full permission to edit, change, or add to it in whatever way you want, I only ask that you give me credit for the original in your ReadMe.

Thanks guys, I've enjoyed the last four years of editing! I'll still be around from time to time, and you can always send me an email.

Friends, Romans, Countrymen

After many, long months of meticulous labor, I am finally near completing this level. It's probably had a major texture overhaul since you last saw it, but it remains more-or-less the same level I showcased back in the summer. Now, all you have to do is pester me half to death, and hopefully I'll release the confounded thing before its anniversary.

Plexus Included in HUB Level Pack!

Wow, it's been a while since I came here. Just wanted to make it clear that this level is finished now, and a finalized version with bug fixes is available in the HLP 2005.

Thanks again to everyone who Beta-tested, and to Zeq who ironed out the cog problems for me. Although I decided not to enter the Hub CTF contest, I look forward to future mapping competitions at the Hub!

Somnolence BETA Released!

After almost 2 years of work, hindered and aggravated by numerous pesky bugs and glitches, "Somnolence" is finally ready to be BETAed and, hopefully, soon released. Plexus Delta Stage Completed

Despite missing my proposed deadline, Plexus has now been completed and is ready to be judged for the HLP Contest. If any errors are found, please report them to me, so that I may release a revised version. I think it is fairly doubtful that this will occur, however. I can now move on to my second entry.

Plexus Gamma Stage Completed

Plexus has completed the third phase of its production, with just one more phase to go. Almost all architecture and texturing has been completed. All that is left is item, placement, some cogging, minor lighting tweaks, and Beta-Testing. The final phase of production is currently scheduled for Sunday the 13th.

Plexus Beta Stage Completed

Plexus has now completed the second phase of its production. I decided to do things a little differently by lighting the level before I placed the textures. Several cogs and effects have also been added. Expect textures by the third phase. As before, continue to check the Spec for progress.

Plexus Alpha Stage Completed

May I present Plexus, my level submission into the Hub Level Pack Contest. The first stage of my project has been completed. More updates are on their way, but in the meantime you can see the new screenshots and read the description. The Spec has also been updated and is charting my project's progress.

Basilica Has Been Released!

Thanks for all the support and advice everyone gave me with this level. It has now been released on Massassi and can be downloaded here - Basilica.

The spectator camera is working according to what my testers have told me, and the rain and lightning is also functional. No more dynamic light flickering either, so all of the bugs should be fixed now! Go check it out! :D

"The Office" meets Jedi Knight!

Here is a little level pack that's being worked on by myself and a few other JEDers. It should eventually consist of 4 maps which will be released in a pack for download. It is an office theme, of course, and my level in particualr is an office for something very familiar...

In the menatime, you can comment in the forums about the maps and give input and suggestions for improvement.

Final Beta

I have just uploaded the final BETA for this level. Hopefully, all of the bugs have been erradicated, but if any remain, please tell me. They will be fixed in the final release.

Speaking of which, I aim to submit this level to the JKA pack which is meant to be coming out this summer, but I haven't heard anything more about it for well over a month. If anyone has any information or due dates, please tell me.

Another Beta Has Arrived!

I just released v.0.99, which features thunder and lightning effects, stabilized dynamic lighting, and a new feature where the host can scout out the arena before any other players arrive.

Please go test it out and give me some feedback. It's possible that this will be the final BETA before completion!

New Beta Version Available

I have just released a much improved Beta_v.0.95 of "Basilica" with a few minor, new additions and many, many bug fixes. All buttons are now labeled, and the spectator camera cogs should hopefully now be working.

Please continue to Beta test though, so that I can make this level as good as possible. Just continue to email me suggestions, or post them on the boards. Thankyou for all your help thus far, I couldn't complete this otherwise.

Please feel free to download the level from the files section (it's about 1.8 MBs zipped), but be aware that you will need at least two people to enter the arena and fight, and three would be optimal, because I would like to see how the spectator camera works. I have also added an additonal picture, this time of the lobby area of the level.

"Basilica" is Under Way!

This level has been in the works for a little while now, it originally started off as a speed level, but my perfectionist nature soon took over - I just had to expand. Currently, I have a full blown mini-JKA Level planned, which won't be terribly large, but should make up for with plenty of visual appeal and hectic gameplay.

You may already know about this level from the showcase forum over at Massassi, and you can track the project's progress on this thread. Consult the other areas of this project page for further info and check back in for updates, I'm hoping to get this one released by mid-June. :-)
