Le Texturo

I figured I'd post a news thingy, since you're supposed to have three total and well, yeah.

Construction of 'An Arduous Setting' is moving along nicely, though my weekend is almost over and that means progress will slow considerably until next weekend. I've mainly been doing a lot of experimenting with texture themes and I think I'm going to stick with the latest, though I still want to add a lot of detail. I don't want this level looking repetative like my last. At any rate...

'til next time!

Stuff...

Though not apparent, work is in fact progressing on my entry for the HCP. Here is a small morsel of tasty goodness for your tasting.. err, viewing pleasure.

Chow.

Exhumed II

After long consideration, I have decided to re-visit Exhumed in the form of a sequel.

As some of you may or may not know, Exhumed was my first level. I used Exhumed as a means to learn Jed and, as a result, it was somewhat rudamentary. There are many things I could have done to make it so much better. In ernest, I wished I had spent more time on it before the JKHub contest, but alas, water under the bridge.

At any rate, I have decided to re-visit my original ideas for Exhumed instead of scrapping it all together. What you will witness here is the unfolding of THE GREATEST DEATHMATCH EVER BUILT. Piece by peice, cleave by cleave. I promise to not disappoint.

File Update

I have uploaded a new version of Exhumed. This fixes a few small minor texture issues. The zip also contains a couple of screenshots and an updated readme file, per the Contest rules.

Exhumed!

My fast-paced deathmatch level going by the name of Exhumed is now complete! Head over to the Downloads section and have at it.

As some of you may or may not know, this is the first level I've ever released for Jedi Knight. Yeah, only took me eight years. I'd like to thank everyone in #jkhub for answering all the pestering, annoying questions I asked over the last two weeks. I'd also like to specifically thank Jackpot, Vane and JAS_Palidori for taking the time out of their days to playtest and give feedback on my level. You guys rock.

I hope everyone enjoys playing Exhumed as much as I enjoyed making it.

Release of a, uh, Pre-Release

I'm posting the pre-released of Exhumed to the downloads section. What this means is that as-is, the level is compelete. If I make any more adjustments, it will be to item placement. So, head over, download it, play around and if you have any comments on the item placement, leave me a message!

Deseretemple, wha?

My level is nearing fruitation. It has evolved considerably over the course of its creation. What started out as somewhat of an egyptian themed desert ruin pyramid... thing... has transfigured into a jedi temple... thingy... thing. So, yeah.

Have a look for yourself and if you feel enclined, click on the Files page and take a spin through the beta!

P.S. Be sure to leave feedback!

P.P.S. Yes, as you can see; it's much brighter now. Shut up. All of you.
