A Jedi Knight Utility for connecting to a community server that will allow players to easily find and connect to games without the need to share IP address or to forward ports.
No more need to port forward. JK Mac OS X now has UPnP support. This means that if UPnP is supported on your router, you no longer need to mess around with forwarding your ports. The only caveat to this is hosting. The DirectPlay Server Helper port (47624) still needs to be forwarded to your machine for hosting, but not joining. A few people have found that getting up and running with Jedi Knight on macOS was a bit tedious using the bash scripts previously referred to. As a result, I've decided to bundle the program into a native macOS application. The app bundle is zipped up in the downloads. It should run with Mac OS X 10.8 and higher but I've only tested it as low as Yosemite. The opening launcher executable (Jedi.exe) was replaced, creating an interface to manage previous Jedi knight executables and their associated DLLs, disk management, and applying modifications, although it is a quick and dirty project, nothing like JKPatch Commander, just gets the simple job done.
