So I've been able to play JK and MOTS on Win 7 but I can't manage to use JKedit because It can't seem to find my resources. I thought maybe it just wants to be in the default program files are rather than the (x86) folder but I haven't had success yet. Any solution?
I installed from the disc manually plus I also have the steam versions install.. one of the two worked.. probably the steam versions. I know for sure though that you can test with either one, but I think having the steam versions will make jkedit recognize the resources. If you dont have them, they are like 2.99 a piece.. dirt cheap.
It looks for a registry entry, like the install path. I'm not sure where Win7 redirects JKEdits search, but there should be something like LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / LucasArts Entertainment Company / JediKnight / v1.0 / Install Path
