You'll merely have to work your way through the tutorials like everyone else did. Also, many of these people have been experimenting with various concepts & techniques for months or even years. Just like with anything else, you'll have to put in the time before you can reap the rewards. I would recommend mastering & pushing the edges of the concepts that you do understand & utilizing those to make a project, post updates & screen-shots, release alphas & betas & listen to the feedback that you receive. Also, don't overlook the fact that in a diminishing community such as this, there's often those that pretend that every box in a room is a work of art & that's a shame. In other words, you may need to sometimes read between the lines to receive proper feedback.
