Hello everyone,

I have an important request to make on behalf of a friend of mine. His name is Jake Brown. He is blind but he loves to play JK, and Daredevil is his guy. Anyway, I am in the process of re-creating a Single Player mod of Daredevil for him for JK. And I am seeking a Matt Murdock cane 3do weapon to replace the lightsaber. No one has ever made anything like that. All I have found is Gamorrean axes, brown sticks, or swords, but no cane. I am not mathematically or geometrically inclined at all, so if I was, I would not ask someone else to make this if I could. Please, if anyone out there still makes 3dos at all, would you please make this for my friend Jake? The only thing I found that would be a lame replacement for him is a crowbar colored red. If anyone needs pics, let me know. I found a few of them yesterday. I forgot to mention that it would be based on the one from the Ben Affleck movie from 2003. Thanks in advance.

I can probably whip that up in a few minutes. Are you talking about the rod attached to the rope thing, or the cane his alter-ego wears?

In the future, post your Model Requests here. I have a hotline for these things.

A quick question: How does a blind man play JK?

I didn't know what you wanted, exactly, so I did a few things. If I didn't do what you want, I'd happily make whatever else you need.

All of these are untextured. If you can't texture them, tell me, and I'll see what I can do for you. I can't promise anything though.

Walking Cane:

Rod Weapon Thing:

It'd be easy to use two models, one with the blades removed, and one with the blades out, and then switch between them on saber activation.

If there was a particular walking stick you wanted, just give me an image, and I'll work with it.

If these models will suffice as is, I'll upload them in .3do format for you.

Wow, God bless you, JediKirby! I was gone for a bit yesterday and already you have answered this request. Thank you, kind sir. Yes, it's the cane one. The one he uses as Daredevil (the one with the blades out) would be awesome for use as a weapon, but I'm afraid it would have to be used as a different weapon model to fire a grappling hook projectile. If you think it could be turned into a replacement for a gun, would you be able to make it a replacement for the bryar or stormtrooper rifle? If not, don't worry about it; the cane version to replace the saber will do. Here's the pics I found the other day, because yes, I don't know a whole lot about texturing and don't really know how to texture, so maybe these reference pics will help with that:

I know, it seems strange (the thing about him being able to play JK), but I don't question it. He is a special friend. He and I go way back- think Star Wars parallel to Han Solo and Lando Calrissian. Ah, the reference image I had was very poor in comparison to these images. Once I get a chance (I'm rather busy right now) I'll toss them together. Shouldn't be more than a few days.

As far as textures go, I'm going to have to ask another member to do them, so I can't promise anything, there.

I can also see about making the one with blades out into a usable weapon in JK. More info on this later.

About making the side blades out handle version to replace a gun-forget about making that one. I talked it over with Jake after not finding a good workable grapple mod that would be realistic to work with, so we're going to dump that weapon. The only one needed still is the cane that Matt Murdock uses. Sorry to be so much trouble. Thanks again!
