how bout instead of a long saber what about dual weilding sabers?

Could be tough... you'll have to make 2 models for each player (or 1 if you switch the puppet instead of the model). In either case, there's a lot of tedious mesh/node manipulation required.

End result could be really nice though

Well, the mod Stories Untold by Rod-Wan and [L0rD]ArCh0n have a good use of a Dual-Saber using glow saber, but how can change the color of the dual sabers?!

Should be able to do it with 1 model and AmputateJoint(), right? Dual wielding sabers I mean. Would balloon player model sizes and kill skin compatibility though.

And would be really klunky until Zeq releases RestoreJoint(). Probably not worth the trouble. A, whatever the dual ended ones are called, a la Darth Maul, would be much more reasonable.

D'oh, that's right... I forgot we were talking about (partly) 3do saber blades and not just JK's broomsabers.

My saberglow is using the old JKBroomsaber method, so I can do the stationary dual sabers. It's not too too hard.

Getting the trails is the hard part lol I'd have to tack the saber models onto the character models, and the only way I can do it is in JED, but that messes up the tex coords Confused Not only that, but with the JKE Models, tacking 2 different saber blades as well as deactivated lightsaber blades is lots of work, and not only that, I won't be able to fit all of those models into a cog.
On top of that, I'll have to key an entire set of animations, which I don't feel up to right now.

I might be able to try something with it, but I'm not going to attempt it now.

To be honest, I really don't know what to suggest. Saber locking is about the only thing I can think of that would be a substantial stand out from the rest of the saber mods. Just a few keyframes would be needed, each of variying degrees of the sabers going towards the looser of the lock battle.

What would define a saber lock to happen though, not too sure.
