This is what I have planned for the mod:

-You're saber will work under water for approximately 10 seconds before the water affects the saber. This way, you can't have your saber underwater but you can continue through single player without problems. (I noticed that in level 4 you need to use your saber underwater, which is why I decided on 10 seconds.)

- New evasive moves. The moves will change to acrobatic attacks when you have your lightsaber selected (force rank 5+).

- Seeing as how this mod probably won't be complete without a double-bladed saber and a long saber, I'll probably add those too.

- Duel sabers would be neat, but I have to figure out the lightsaber setup first.

- I may add lightsaber trail toggle and damage toggle, like SBX. This isn't a guarantee. I know that the trail toggle might be a good idea but damage toggle... well.. I never really used that, did you?

- I'm trying to think of a nice way of performing the lightsaber throw. I'll post back when I get an idea.

Well, that's nice! And... sometimes, i use the damage toogle, when i want to do 'defense-only' fights or in rpgs...

I might sooner add damage toggle and those features before lightstaff, long saber and dual sabers.

Dual sabers is going to be a real tough one.

I recently made a Dual Glowsaber cog, with Motion trails, both sabers making damage, and working with any skin. The only problem is that the sabers keep flashing, since all they do is changing the hand where the player holds his saber in very high speeds, to give the illusion the character has two sabers...

you should also make it so the trails work in first person and add the wallmarks from toolbox while making them appear more instead of gapping. id also like to know why it dosnt work with the latest unofficial patch without adding your patch version

1. I've tried trails, but there's a limit to how fast the engine can pulse, meaning no matter what I do I'll get gaps.

2. I forget which patch is currently the newest, at the time of release the JKUP didn't support GetSaberColor, which mine does. If the current JKUP supports it, then it'll work fine. I use this cog verb to get the players MP color and assign the according color in-game.
