So I'm playing through the original JK levels lately. On modern screens, it's exceedingly apparent
that Kyle is suffering from some form of chronic myopia. The MipMap and 3do LOD distances are set way too low on average for a 1680x1050 monitor like mine (JK only goes up to 1600x1024 for widescreen, actually) and so it looks really obvious when everything blurs out at a distance most people with 20/20 vision would be able to see clearly.
Isn't there some way to fix this without brute-force level header editing?
