Jedi Knight Console Commands
To use these commands, while in game, press 'T', then press 'TAB', then type the command, followed by any applicable value, and then press 'ENTER'. Example: framerate 1. 'framerate' would be the command, '1' would be the value. '1' means on, '0' means off.
Please note that most Jedi Knight commands differ from their equivalent Mysteries of the Sith counterparts.
Single Player Commands
- 5858lvr #
- '1' Reveals entire map; shows actors, items, projectiles, and .COG linked objects.
- '0' Restores map to normal.
- Example: 5858lvr 1
- bactame
- Full health and shields restored to player.
- Example: bactame
- deeznuts
- Increases 'Jedi Rank' by two, increments mana pool (regenerative Force ammo) by 100, and assigns a star to each Force power. To make Force powers 'available', use either 'imayoda', 'sithlord', or 'raccoonking' as explained below before entering this command, to max out stars (four each), type this command four times, a fifth time resets to rank two, one star on each power, and 100 mana.
- Example: deeznuts
- eriamjh #
- '1' Disables player's gravity (enables fly mode).
- '0' Re-enables players gravity (disables fly mode).
- Example: eriamjh 1
- hyper #
- Teleports player to spawn point (walkplayer) which corresponds with number entered. the 'players' command, as explained below, will tell how many spawn points there are in the map, for example, if there are six spawn points, entering '1' would teleport to the first (beginning of map) and '6' would teleport to the last.
- Example: hyper 1
- imayoda
- Makes every neutral and light Force power available. It should be used in conjunction with 'deeznuts' as explained above.
- Example: imayoda
- jediwannabe #
- '1' Enables a type of 'god mode' which makes the player invulnerable to many kinds of damage such as that of projectiles, explosions, and force powers. The player can still be damaged if they collide with something at a high rate of speed or falls great distances (fade to black, or hits bottom).
- '0' Turns off 'god mode' so the player takes damage like normal.
- Example: jediwannabe 1
- pinotnoir #
- Ends the current game and starts the corresponding map in the episode. Tends to be buggy and crash the game, a less buggy way is to use the -devmode Command Line and select your episode from the debug menu, however, that will be the only episode that plays, Also, see 'thereisnotry' below.
- Example: pinotnoir 2
- raccoonking
- Makes every Force power available. It should be used in conjunction with 'deeznuts' as explained above.
- Example: raccoonking
- red5
- Makes every weapon available and maxes out ammo. Unfortunately, it gives you fifty mana in a non incremental fashion which drains you if you already have more. Time heals that, though.
- Example: red5
- sithlord
- Makes every neutral and dark Force power available. It should be used in conjunction with 'deeznuts' as explained above.
- Example: sithlord
- slowmo #
- '1' Slow motion (0.2 of normal speed)
- '0' Regular motion
- Example: slowmo 1
- thereisnotry
- Ends the current map as a success and proceeds to the next map.
- wamprat
- Makes every item available
- Example: wamprat
- warp X Y Z
- Teleports player to specified three-dimensional coordinates, use in conjunction with the 'coords' command as explained below to find valid areas to teleport to.
- Example: warp -3.1 3.3 7
- whiteflag #
- '1' disables enemy AI
- '0' restores AI to normal
- Example: whiteflag 1
- yodajammies
- Fully regenerates mana pool (Force ammo)
- Example: yodajammies
Multi Player Commands
- endlevel
- Changes to the next map in the rotation. If rotation is not set by the host, game will end and credits will roll.
- kick PLAYERNAME
- This command may only be used by the host. It removes a player from the game. This command should be used only on people who are disrupting the game, such as the moron who deleted the CTF flag. Sometimes a player's name is difficult to type, if that is the case, use Kicker Helper to rename him.
- Example: kick Ba'al
- ping PLAYERNAME
- Returns time it takes, in milliseconds, to send and receive data from other players. This is also called 'latency'. using "all" instead of a player's name will return the pings of all players.
- Example: ping all
- team #
- Changes team colors (in team games only).
- '1' Red team
- '2' Gold team
- '3' Blue team
- '4' Green team
- Example: team 1
- tick ###
- The value of this command can only be changed by the host, but clients (non-host players) may use the command to view the current tick rate (by entering 'tick' without a number attached). The default value is 180, the minimum value is 100, and the maximum value is 300.
- Example: tick 180
Single Player and Multi Player Commands
- coords
- Displays your X Y Z position in 3D space (can be used with 'warp' in single player explained above), your Pitch, Yaw, Roll, and the current sector.
- Example: coords
- dispstats
- This is shorthand for 'Display Status', Credit goes to the authors of the 'Jedi Knight Datamaster' for the following, quoted, information, without their advice, this command switch would be rather obscure:
- Jedi Knight will display in-game statistics about the level and the player at the top of the screen. Example:
- When using either the command line switch or the console command, dispstats will display two lines of information at the top of the screen while your playing a level. It will look like this:
- XX.XXX [XXX%]f Xs Xa Xz Xp X curSector X fo
force: XXX, item: none, force: none,
- XX.XXX [XXX%]f: the first number is the framerate or frames per second. The second number inside brackets is the percentage that the current framerate is of the max framerate. The letter 'f' at the end stands for 'framerate.'
- Xs: this is the number of sectors that JK is rendering. The 's' stands for 'sector.'
- Xa: This is the number of architecture things that JK is rendering (0x8 TF). The 'a' may stand for 'architectures'.
- Xz: this seems to be the number of thing models that JK is rendering. It's not clear what the 'z' stands for.
- Xp: this is the number of polygons that JK is rendering. The 'p' stands for 'polygons'.
- X curSector: this number is the current sector that the player is inside of.
- X fo: this number is the number of unused thing variables in the level's array. E.g., if the level has a thing limit of 200, and the level has only the walkplayer and a stormtrooper in it, then this number will be 198. The 'fo' may stand for 'freed objects.'
- force: XXX: this is the mana (amount of force ammo) that the player has.
- item: none: this is the item that the player has selected.
- force: none: this is the force power that the player has selected.
- This may be 'shut off' in-game by pressing 'T', pressing 'TAB', typing 'dispstats 0', pressing 'ENTER', then pressing 'ESC' twice (entering and exiting the main menu to clear leftover text).
- Example: dispstats 1
- framerate #
- '1' Displays frames rendered per second.
- '0' Doesn't display frames rendered per second. Press ESC twice to get rid of any remaining text as mentioned in 'dispstats'.
- Example: framerate 1
- kill
- Inflicts 100 damage to your health points.
- Example: kill
- players
- Prints out the walkplayer names, numbers and some other information about them - sadly, you have to be using -devmode and -windowgui Command Line Switches so you can see them in the 'Jedi Console'.
- Example: players
- trackshots #
- '1' displays what surface, sector, and material that projectiles hit.
- '0' doesn't display what surface, sector, and material that projectiles hit.
- Example: trackshots 1
- version
- Prints JK version, was likely meant to be used by LEC technical support to get a player's version number.
- Example: version
